Prior to First Round, Nick served as CMO at Farfetch, the global luxury fashion marketplace, where he oversaw all global marketing functions. Before that, he was TikTok’s first Head of Global Marketing, responsible for brand strategy, media, social, and partnerships across all regions. At TikTok, he led the platform’s first global marketing campaign, “It Starts on TikTok,” and quickly became known for his ability to turn cultural moments into marketing breakthroughs. He departed after less than two years when some of his more unconventional initiatives — including NFT collaborations and ghost kitchens — diverged from leadership’s direction.
Earlier in his career, Nick was VP, Head of Brand and Culture Marketing at Hulu, where he reinvented the brand and drove memorable campaigns including “Better Ruins Everything,” “Hulu Has Live Sports” (featuring the Tom Brady Super Bowl ad), and the viral “World Record Egg.” He also held roles at Samsung Electronics, Stance, and Taco Bell spanning brand and culture marketing, influencer and experiential marketing, and digital strategy.
