Behind the Bureau: The Latest Updates

Behind the Bureau: What's Been Happening Lately

Summer is officially in full swing, and things at VaynerSpeakers are moving faster than ever. From crossing the Atlantic for my very first Cannes Lions to watching our talent dominate major stages.

Here’s a look at what we’ve been up to lately…

My First Cannes Lions

(And Why Chez Vayner Was the Place to Be)

I just got back from my very first Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity. For years, I’ve watched Cannes Lions happen from this side of the Atlantic, and experiencing the sheer energy of the festival in person is a completely different story.

It was an incredibly productive week of meeting new faces, catching up with partners, and talking about where the future of live events and talent is heading. A massive shoutout to the entire VaynerX team. They absolutely crushed it! Chez Vayner was undeniably the place to be on the Croisette. The energy, the conversations, and the community built there made it an unforgettable first trip. Safe to say, I’ll be back!

Jesse Itzler’s "BUILT for Fun" Retreat

Rewriting Limits (and Surviving the Hill)

This month, a select group of leaders headed into the woods of Connecticut. Jesse Itzler’s BUILT for Fun retreat was anything but a standard corporate retreat. It was a room full of founders and CEOs, and Jesse doing what Jesse does best, which is pushing people past the thing they thought was their limit.

The ultimate test came when the group recreated his legendary, annual Hell On The Hill event. Let's just say it lived up to the name… it was incredibly hard, and it pushed me to a place where I really had to dig deep. But that’s exactly why you sign up for a Jesse Itzler event. Between the steep climbs, the cold plunges, the sauna boats (yes, you read that right), and the late-night strategy sessions, it was an incredible few days of growth and newfound relationships.

Max Major Minds the Gap Between Attention and AI

Live from Fortune Brainstorm Tech in Aspen

I was out in Aspen for Fortune Brainstorm Tech to watch Max Major entertain some of the brightest minds in tech, media, and AI.

He kicked off night one at Gary Lauder’s house by throwing out some mind tricks that completely disrupted how these leaders think about human attention. It sparked an incredible dialogue the next day about human behavior, influence, and the future of AI. To wrap it all up, Max caught up with Allie Garfinkle for a chat that will be dropping soon on the Term Sheet podcast. You don’t want to miss it!
