Kindra Hall is President and Chief Storytelling Officer at Steller Collective, a consulting firm focused on the strategic application of storytelling to today’s communication challenges. As one of the most sought-after keynote speakers in the world, she’s trusted by global brands like Facebook, Hilton Hotels, Tyson Foods, Target, Berkshire Hathaway, and Harvard Medical School to deliver presentations and trainings that inspire teams and individuals to better communicate the value of their companies, products, and unique perspectives through strategic storytelling.
What began as a chance encounter at age 13 with a storytelling cassette tape grew into a lifelong passion—not only for telling stories, but for mastering and teaching the methods and science behind them. A former National Champion storyteller and member of the Board of Directors of the National Storytelling Network, Kindra holds a master’s degree in communications, where she conducted original research on the role of storytelling in defining and revealing organizational culture. Her expertise is further informed by her background as a Director of Marketing and VP of Sales, giving her a unique understanding of how stories drive business results.
Today, Kindra’s work appears on Inc.com and Entrepreneur.com, and she serves as a contributing editor for SUCCESS Magazine. Her highly anticipated book was released by Harper Leadership in fall 2019. Regardless of industry, she’s become a conference favorite for her ability to blend inspiration with education—audiences leave feeling both excited and equipped to put their stories to work in tangible ways.
Kindra lives in Manhattan with her husband and two young children. When she’s not traveling the world speaking, she can usually be found at spin class or in Central Park with her family.
